Where this is used in the industry
Autodesk 3ds Max is the dominant modelling and rendering application in architectural visualisation, product visualisation and TV/broadcast graphics studios across India, ahead of Maya in that specific segment.
Its plugin ecosystem (V-Ray, Arnold, Forest Pack, Corona) is the reason vis studios standardise on it rather than switching tools mid-pipeline.
