12 MONTHS · AGENCY CRAFT
Design for brands, print and the web
You want to be in the room where the campaign gets made, and you want to be there soon.

Proof in 30 seconds
Agencies hire on the portfolio, not the certificate. 288 hours across Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Figma, built around the three things an agency asks to see: branding, advertising craft and web design.

Illustrations of the kind of work this course builds towards, not student work. Photographs of real MAAC Whitefield student projects will replace them as batches graduate.

What you'll make
Grounded in this course's real modules and software — not a placement promise.
Month 1
Layout, colour and type fundamentals applied to real formats — posters, packaging, social sets.
Month 3
A complete brand identity with a rationale you can present out loud, which is half of an agency interview.
Month 6
An advertising campaign across three media, plus a responsive website designed in Figma.
Month 12
A portfolio of four or five finished pieces that read as client work, with the thinking documented behind each one.
See it, don't just read about it

Most of this catalogue is a software and production craft, not a drawing exam — modelling, compositing, editing, level design and design tools are all taught from first principles. Where a course does lean on drawing (character design, storyboarding), it starts from basic shapes and construction, not raw talent.
AI has changed these tools, not removed the need for people who understand story, composition, timing and craft — this curriculum teaches those fundamentals alongside the current AI-assisted tools of the trade, so graduates direct the tools instead of being replaced by them.
